Networking is broken

Traditional networking is ineffective in generating business. We believe the root cause is competing agendas, i.e. every participant is focused inward...on what is in it for them. Not only is networking like that a “needle in the haystack” proposition, it also rarely leads to a personal affinity and connection...and all everybody ends up with is another stack of mostly irrelevant business cards.

So, we are engaged in a revolution. At FocusOut, we let go of own agenda and instead immerse ourselves into processes that deliberately focus on contributing to the success of others.
